Add-on
for ArchiCAD 10 is available for free download.
Budapest, April 12 - ArchiCAD passed the second step of the IFC
2x3 certification at the IAI's (Industry Alliance for Interoperability)
latest certification workshop held mid-March in Waltham, US. The
IFC 2x3 add-on for ArchiCAD 10 is available as free download from
Graphisoft's official website.
"We are proud of our leadership role in driving the IFC
standard which more and more building owners are mandating as
the way that project information must be exchanged, said Viktor
Varkonyi, VP of ArchiCAD Development".
IFC 2x3 supports better communication between various design
disciplines including architectural and structural. IFC 2x3 also
introduces 2D information as a brand new layer in 3D IFC models.
Drawing primitives such as lines, poly-lines, circles, texts,
and fills can now be an integrated part of the IFC files.
More information about IFC and 2x3 in particular can be found
at IAI's official website.
