BIM Introduction Course – 2 Days
This Training Course introduces you to the concepts of BIM using ArchiCAD Virtual Building Modeler. The course uses a simple single story bach as a project to introduce the concepts. By the end of the course attendees should be able to successfully model their project in ArchiCAD and produce working drawings from it. The course also aims to increase productivity by introducing intelligent objects which can be used to take the donkey work out of basic draughting. More...
BIM Intermediate Course – 2 Days
This course follows on from the BIM Introductory course, and aims to show, through the use or ArchiCAD’s Virtual Building Software, how to add extra information to your Basic BIM Model. For this course we use a multi story building which allows us to create Stairs and Multi Story Walls. We create a Site Terrain, Sun Studies, Shadow Plans and we look at Attributes, Pen Sets, Layer Combinations and simple GDL Object creation. More...
BIM Teamwork and Collaboration Course – 1 Day
Based around ArchiCAD’s new Teamwork 2.0 Technology this course aims to show users how to successfully set up and run a collaborative Teamwork Project. We will look at installing and setting up the GRAPHISOFT BIM Server and how to navigate in a Teamwork environment. We also look at external collaboration with DWG, DXF, PDF and 3D IFC file formats. By the end of the course attendees should be able to successfully set up and manage a teamwork project, collaborate confidently in 2D and 3D, and have an all encompassing overview of running Large Projects. Custom Training
If there are specific parts of ArchiCAD that you would like training in that our current courses don't offer we can offer one-on-one custom training either at our Training Centre or at your office.
Custom Training is offered in minimum 2 hour blocks and can cover almost any aspect of ArchiCAD. Being a one-on-one (or one-on-two) training it offers an interactive experience that allows you to get the full benefit by asking questions relevant to your work.
